We just woke up from a brief nap in the Mount Wilson Library and then went to the 16 in. telescope to begin creating a couple frames for an LCROSS video clip. The image quality of the camera attached to the telescope is remarkable considering the distance of the Moon. After generating a title page and credits page with a beautiful background picture of the mountainous and crater filled terrain of the Moon, we talked about the scintillation of the stars, arc seconds, and other astronomical concepts we returned to the library to blog. T-2hrs!!!
